Corncrake Cottage is a traditional stone built house situated in the crofting township of North Boisdale, Isle of South Uist, Western Isles. The cottage, with sheltered garden, is ideally located for those wishing to spend time exploring the beautiful islands of South Uist and Eriskay where there are a variety of activities available such as birdwatching, angling and pony trekking. As its name suggests, the elusive Corncrake, a summer migrant from South Africa, can frequently be heard from Corncrake Cottage, as can may other wild birds.
